Big changes at Slicethepie - Fan financing enters a new era...Hi! We're just writing to give you a heads up on some big changes at Slicethepie, if you've only got a moment here's the meat (veggie and gravy below):

For artists this means complete flexibility in what they want to offer their supporters (ehem, YOU). Artists can add anything to any package at any time, so let's hope they're feeling creative! If there's something you think they're missing, you can let us know. Plus: the forth package is the 'You Decide' package, where you can suggest something that you want in return for your support. Maybe you want the Artist to play at your party, or take you out for dinner, maybe you want a song dedicated to you, time in the studio or a cut of the royalties - maybe you just want a hug.... These rewards will be artist specific and agreed between fan and Artist but it means you can agree anything you like directly with the artist. Get creative : ) Check out Artists currently looking for your support here. New Artist Profiles Yep, for Artists in Showcases we've created new Slicethepie profiles to show off their Slicethepie support as well as pull in info from Facebook, Twitter and the likes. This will enable Artists to directly contact their supporters at any time. So you'll always know what they're up to. These will go live in the next week. Site Converted to $US The site has now been fully converted to $US, (you'll be able to see the conversion in your MySlice account). This conversion is to enable us to roll out a number of partnerships (announcing soon) in the US which will add significant opportunities for Artists and improve Slicethepie, for Music Fans and Artists alike.
