Let's do a little relaxation exercise. Let go of all your stresses and all of your commitments. Forget about the deadline for the project you're working on and forget about Meet the Teacher night at your kids' school. Let it all slip away and picture yourself far away from everything just having fun. Now, tell me where did your mind take you? What did you do there? Escaping our everyday routines and relaxing is necessary. Yet, getting away is much harder than just closing your eyes and imagining a far off, exotic destination. There's all the research, planning and preparation. Book It Now is a blog that helps making your trip a reality a little bit easier. Sure a blog can't pack your bags or get you to your plane on time, but it can provide exotic destination suggestions, creative tour packages, and easy booking options all in one place. If you're in the mood for a get away, Book It Now is the blog to visit to help you get your trip underway. Because vacations should be easy. Member Memories: Favorite Vacations My first trip to Las Vegas, Nevada was amazing, and I thought this before ever getting out of the plane ! As you descend into Las Vegas you are met with outstanding natural beauty of the Grand Canyon, Colorado River, The Sierra Nevada Mountains, Mojave Desert, and Lake Meade. Then you see the man made wonders of Hoover Dam and the world famous Las Vegas Strip. This was enough for me to choose Las Vegas for most, if not all future vacation destinations. I was thirteen and had never seen the ocean before. My family drove from Illinois to Myrtle Beach and arrived late in the evening. After checking in to the hotel, we walked down to the deserted beach and wandered along the shore in the dark, listening to the waves and letting the water wash over our feet. Taking my kids to explore my native homeland of Costa Rica was such a dream come true for me. Driving through the countryside, exploring the rainforest, relaxing in the natural hot springs, swimming in both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, hiking up various volcanoes... Adding that to immersing them in the Spanish language, the tranquil culture, the friendly people, the savory food, the tropical music... It was a complete adventure defined by the Costa Rican motto of Pura Vida - or Pure Life! | |
