We are informing you that we are updating our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Service Level Agreement (SLA).

We're Updating our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and SLA We are informing you that we are updating our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Service Level Agreement (SLA). These updated terms will be effective on December 1, 2018. If you have a separate written agreement with Twilio, then the updates to the Terms of Service and the Service Level Agreement will not apply to you, but the updates to the Acceptable Use Policy will be effective after the update notice period provided in our separate written agreement. What has not changed: We have not changed your ability to use the our services. You may continue to access your Twilio account and use our services as you always have. What has changed: We updated both the legalese and the human readable portions to make them easier for you (and your lawyers) to understand. We want our customers to be happy, so these updated terms are more customer-friendly (aka more favorable to you) than the previous version. We included terms related to newly released products (Twilio Flex) and other existing products (phone numbers, short codes, etc.). We called out certain legal and use obligations that we thought you should be aware of as you use our services, including your obligation to follow all applicable legal and regulatory requirements if you record telephone calls or monitor communications using our services (such as obtaining appropriate consent). We have a more detailed list of the updates on our Terms of Service page. Please be aware that if you continue to use our services after these updated terms become effective, then you are accepting them.
