After the great Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver last February, we are now getting ready for the first Youth Olympic Games to be held in Singapore from 14 to 26 August. Let's discover more about the event and Acer contribution. What is the Youth Olympic Games? The Youth Olympic Games (YOG) is a worldwide sport event for young athletes aged between 14 and 18 years old where 3,600 athletes coming from 205 National Olympic Committees will participate to the sport events and also take part in a Culture and Education Programme. The Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games aims to inspire youth around the world to embrace, embody and express the Olympic values of Excellence, Friendship and Respect. What is Acer role as Worldwide Partner of the Olympic Movement?  We supply the computing equipment part of the PC infrastructure in Singapore. More than 2,000 pieces will be deployed to all competition venues to support the Games going "live". Moreover we will be supporting the Young Ambassadors programme.
