***New Design***

As you may have noticed, our new layout has been launched. Our aim was to create a design that was compatible with all resolutions and loaded faster than the old one, and I think we have succeeded. Please do report your feedback or any bugs in the Announcement section of the forum.

***New - Upcoming Features***
August was a silent month, but we are ready to introduce a few new features very soon.

-We integrated the forum into our site layout and every new user should be auto logged in on the forum (at least you can log in with your BUXP account on the forum)

Coming soon:

-More features for advertisers in the adpanel such as ability to change url & description of their advertisement & move credits from one to another advertisement.
-Advertise via balance for standard & premium members (1000 Member Visits in addition to the 101 Member Visits).
-New earning feature for advertisements that break frame or do not accept framed traffic. (More info soon on the forum)
-Instant payments for premium members.

***New BUXP Game***

Some of you might have already tested the game (we spread out the test link on our shout box a while ago), and our BuxP Game V2 is in the final testing phase before launch, expect this very soon. It is in the same genre as the current game, but a little bit more sophisticated... (More levels, weapons, enemies,...)

It's kind of like The View for blogs...except it's usually all guys, we don't interview celebrities, and no one on the cast is famous. Hmmm, well I guess it's nothing like The View. It's more like three dudes hanging out talking about blogging.

Might As Well Watch Oprah

Mark Jackson, President and CEO of Vizion Interactive, sometimes meets with resistance when trying to convince companies to add blogs to their corporate sites. When Mark posed the idea to one particular client, he responded by saying, "Blogs are just places where people can hear themselves talk about how smart they are and then other people link to it so they can get more people to their blogs so they can hear how smart they are – might as well watch Oprah."

Nothing against Oprah, but blogs are amazing tools for communication and provide many benefits for brands that watching Oprah simply can't. Jackson explains these benefits by covering a few key areas: thought leadership, adding depth to a website, the use of human language, getting links, and the benefits of fresh content.

It's worth a read. Plus, Oprah will be leaving her show in the near future, and maybe then all those naysayer executives will be forced to start looking for well-informed people to run their blogs.
